Cyber Assessment Framework - Objectives, outcomes and achievements

Steve Macmillan

As an organisation that lives and breathes policies, processes, procedures, frameworks, standards etc, Protocol Policy Systems (PPS) has recently conducted a project to align the best practice policy content of Policy Management as a Service with the CAF requirements.

This means our UK customers, when conducting a framework assessment exercise, will be able to quickly and easily demonstrate that they have evidence in the form of tailored IT policies and indicators of good practice (IGP’s) in place across the 4 objectives documented in the framework –

  1. Managing security risk
  2. Protecting against cyber-attacks
  3. Detecting cyber security events
  4. Minimising the impact of cyber security incidents.

This addition to our offering means that any council organisations who subscribe to Policy Management as a Service can very quickly develop, deliver and maintain comprehensive tailored policy content that is suited to their business requirements whilst supporting their efforts to achieve the outcomes stated within the 4 objectives of the framework (CAF).
