Protocol Policy Systems was initially established in 2004 as Kaon SecurITy. Due to the growing success of the Kaon IT Policy system the new company was formed to focus on and drive the future of the IT Policy business in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

Steve has had a career in Business Management, IT Sales and Marketing since the mid-eighties. In his role at Protocol Policy Systems he is responsible for working with the team to expand and develop existing and new markets. For over 20 years he has been a Director of MPA New Zealand Ltd an IT distribution business that has worked with many leading technology vendors to establish and build their market presence in the region.

Sue Lal has over 25 years experience in sales leadership and strategic account development working with commercial and public sector organisations building long term trusted business relationships based on the solid understanding of clients’ requirements, challenges, operational needs, risks and agreed measured project success criteria. With a commitment of regular reviews and continuous improvement plans where necessary, Sue has built a significant and well respected network of technology professionals both amongst her clients and partner agencies when required to successfully deliver complex projects.

Sue’s IT sales career included working for some of the UK’s leading technology resellers such as Lynx Technology (acquired by BT), SCC (Europe’s largest independent IT reseller), and more recently Pangea Systems where she set up and grew the public sector business to represent 45% of the company’s turnover. Sue’s areas of expertise include Consultative Solution Selling, SaaS, Sales Strategy & Management, Business Services, End User Analytics, IT Service Management, Managed Services

Denise comes from a background of administration and software development. Joining Protocol in 2014, Denise is in charge of the application responsible for producing new policy systems, creating customisations and maintaining existing systems to ensure that they continue to meet security standards.
